The Tamworth Physiotherapy team is looking for a new Senior Physiotherapist! Come join this progressive Physiotherapy team, with a strong focus on providing high quality, patient-centred physiotherapy care. Working alongside your multi-discipline colleagues you would be able to advocate for patients to ensure best outcomes

Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the HNELHD. It has approximately 270 beds, the Critical Care Services is located in the new state of the art hospital complex and boasts an 8 bed ICU, 6 bed HDU, 8 bed CCU, Rehabilitation Unit, Orthopaedics, Hydrotherapy Pool, Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Fracture Clinic. Tamworth is a family friendly city, offering a broad range of experiences from sport and lifestyle, art and culture, music and entertainment, cafes and restaurants and weekend adventures.

About the job:

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Physiotherapy team at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital to provide high quality clinical services as a Senior Physiotherapist. You would be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providing physiotherapy input for the management of cardio-respiratory patients and other conditions as needed. You will deliver a high-level clinical Physiotherapy service (including services of a more complex nature) with advanced clinical reasoning skills in the provision of clinical care. You’ll also exercise independent professional judgement in solving problems and managing complex situations.

Your Support:

Education is embedded in this role- engage in ongoing education/ training and actively participate in regular professional practice supervision and complete activities associated with supervision as negotiated with supervisor/senior clinician.

You would be supported by the Physiotherapy manager at Tamworth Hospital, and complete supervision as part of this role.
