About the Position:

As one of our amazing Registered Nurses/Midwifes you will provide comprehensive assessments, implement evidence based treatment within care plans, educate clients on harm minimisation and relapse prevention, and, manage neonates at risk of prenatal substance exposure. As there is a strong focus on child protection, you must have a thorough understanding of the child protection policy and legislation, and be proactive in remaining up to date with related training. Within this position, there is an opportunity to progress to Clinical Nurse Specialist.

About the Team:

The successful applicant will become part of the Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting Service (SUPPS) team. You will work alongside other clinicians to ensure quality care and support is provided to people with substance use challenges who are pregnant or have a child under the age of two.

Located at Tamworth Community Health, North Tamworth, you can explore the outdoor environment by visiting the Tamworth Marsupial park or taking a walk up the Oxley Scenic Lookout before or after work.
