About the Role
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is searching for a Registered Nurse to provide safe compassionate person centred care within the facility ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be supported with Clinical Nurse Educator coverage Weekdays morning shifts with daily in services with immense opportunities to upskill with training days.

Tamworth Hospital is a major Rural Referral Hospital providing services to the North-West area of NSW. In July 2015, we opened the doors to a new $220 million acute services redevelopment; equipped with 348 treatment spaces; we conduct over 8000 surgical procedures per annum over five theatre spaces.
Tamworth, with a population of 60,000 is a modern progressive city set in a picturesque backdrop of tree covered mountains. About You
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and a diligent individual with post graduate qualifications and experience in Emergency Nursing and or recent experience in an Acute Care setting. You will use your knowledge, experience and competence in the processes used by our Emergency Department including the Patient Flow Portal, ED Whiteboard, iMS+,  as well  as your resilience and ability to work independently and support a large team to provide excellent patient care in this role. You should have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and demonstrate a capacity to work within a team and accept responsibility for own actions and outcomes and using same as an opportunity to learn and develop and will have a strong focus to provide patient centred care and incorporates the principles of excellence.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
