Where you’ll be working:
  • Gunnedah Community Health Service is a busy team of professional staff providing Aged Care, Child and Family health, Wound Care and palliative care services to the Gunnedah community.

About the role:

  • You will be providing wound care, assisting with Aged Care in the home services, undertaking home visits and working on site.
  • You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager and orientation and education will be provided.

About you:

  • You are able to work independently and bring with you your knowledge and skills of aged care, wound care and the needs of people living in the community.
  • Experience in wound care and Community Health Nursing will be highly regarded.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

This is a Category A position. Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement (IHS), or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate, or AIR COVID-19 and Influenza IHS. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
