About the Role

  • Casual Registered Nurse position within Narrabri District Hospital and Boggabri Multi-Purpose Service.
  • The applicant will work in a diverse team environment, in clinical areas including Medical, Surgical, palliative care and Emergency Departments

Where you’ll be working

  • There are opportunities across the Narrabri District Hospital, which consist of Medical, Surgical unit and Emergency Department/
  • Narrabri is located in the beautiful Namoi Valley of New South Wales, near the spectacular Mount Kaputar – a great base for outdoor adventure.
  • Narrabri is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane, approximately a 6-and-a-half-hour drive from either city, with flights operating from both cities to Narrabri 3 days per week.
  • There are also opportunities at Boggabri Multi-Purpose Service.
  • Boggabri is a quiet rural town located just outside of Gunnedah.
  • Boggabri is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Tamworth, and 50 minutes from Gunnedah.

  • To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
