Tamworth Regional Council is looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in developing and broadening their skills and experience in Engineering within a Local Government environment.
Every 12 – 18 months you will rotate positions with other engineers into a different engineering discipline within Council. This will maximise your exposure to the broad range of Engineering activities undertaken by Tamworth Regional Council. Your salary level will increase as rotations are completed and you gain increased knowledge and skills.
Council currently has two positions available working within Council’s Water and Waste Directorate.
The ability to communicate/negotiate with all stakeholders, as well as the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and initiative is essential.
Applicants will need to possess a 4 Year Degree in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering or equivalent qualification and hold a current Drivers Licence.
This position has been classified as a Grade 16-19 with a salary range of $91,441 to $118,519 per annum for 35 hours work per week (inclusive of 9.5% superannuation and 3.5% civil liability allowance).
The commencing salary will be dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
