About Your Role

The Team Clinical Leader is responsible for leading and maintaining clinical governance within the Community Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol team under the overall direction of the Team Manager.

The position will provide clinical leadership to clinicians across the lifespan and drug and alcohol services, according to the distinct specialities of each service, in collaboration with District Clinical Leader positions.

The position will ensure a focus on evidenced based person centred care and family sensitive practice that is provided within a recovery oriented framework with links to other support services.

This position will also ensure the consumer and carer voice is heard and actioned through all our processes.

The position will ensure that the physical health care of Mental Health Drug and Alcohol consumers is routinely assessed and appropriate interventions are offered.

This position works closely with the District Clinical Leaders, speciality and lifespan, participates in district meetings, committees, process and procedure reviews, and is responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence based mental health drug and alcohol care to consumers, their families and carers.

This position is open to the following classifications : Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2, Clinical Psychologist, Counsellor Level 5, Psychologist, Sexual Assault Worker Level 5, Social Worker Level 5, Welfare Off Level 5.
