Our Crown Lands team is currently seeking an Area Manager North West within the Land and Asset Management division to provide critical support to a diverse team in regional NSW.
The Area Manager North West will be regionally based and is responsible for managing a team and providing expert advice on a diverse range of tenures, reserves, and property management, asset management and natural resource management functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholder such as Crown land Managers, tenure holders and councils.
You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build and maintain strong networks and relationships with key stakeholders across the North West region.
As you will have a large team that is geographically spread across the North West region, you will be someone who demonstrates exceptional leadership and people skills with the ability to manage staff in remote locations.
Your key to success will be your ability to demonstrate experience in managing complex tenure, reserve and property management projects with a diverse range of stakeholders in a politically sensitive environment, with competing interests and priorities.
Additionally, key knowledge of understanding planning, land and natural resource related legislation will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge and understanding of planning, land and natural resource related legislation and understanding of key commercial drivers in property management.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Current drivers licence with the willingness and ability to travel.
