About the opportunity:
Patient Services is currently seeking two permanent part time Administration Officers to provide an efficient and effective administrative/clerical service within the Emergency Department (ED) and Switchboard. This exciting role will see you attending to patients, staff and visitors both over the phone and face to face. You will also be providing break relief for the ED Clerk and Switchboard Operator. You will be supported in this role with comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training from our friendly team.

You will be working in a fast paced environment in the Emergency Department and the Tamworth Hospital Switchboard. Tamworth Hospital is one of the New England’s largest regional hospitals, recently refurbished to boast brand new, state of the art facilities. With speciality services including Orthopaedics, Theatres, ICU, Paediatrics, Dialysis, Rehab, Medical and others. Tamworth Hospital provides the perfect platform for Administration Officers to expand their Administration experience and expertise.

About you:
You are a motivated Administration Officer with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, superior time management and strong attention to detail. You are a dedicated and enthusiastic team player with the ability to think on your feet and complete work within allocated timeframes. You will be available to work shift work 7 days a week and be available to cover unexpected leave as needed.
