The Point to Point Transport Commission is the industry regulator for taxis and hire vehicles within the state of New South Wales. We work with industry to ensure they have the knowledge and capability to implement and maintain their own safety management and promote industry compliance.

About the team

The Data Exchange and Service Delivery Unit sits within the Operations Branch of the Point to Point Transport Commissioner. The team is the key liaison point between the Commissioner and the point to point industry, supporting the functions of the Commissioner and industry participants within the legislative framework.

The opportunity

Based in Dubbo, we have an opportunity for a Service and Industry Liaison Officer to join our Data and Exchange and Service Delivery team, where you will provide support services to the point to point industry to ensure compliance with relevant legislative and performance standards.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Provide tier 2 assistance to the Industry Contact Centre agents when required.
  • Support industry service providers to ensure they are meeting their obligations under point to point transport legislation, focusing on regional NSW.
  • Engage directly with the industry service providers and internal stakeholders to support information sharing and service delivery.

About you

You are experienced in dealing with complex problems in a busy customer service environment. Ideally you will have extensive experience working with legislation and providing stakeholders with subject matter advice and regulatory guidance.

It is important that you can work autonomously on a range of different tasks concurrently, manage competing priorities, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

You are proficient in written and oral communications and can effectively engage an audience with cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds through easy to understand communications.
Salary and Benefits
