Guest Experience Officer – Reservations

Taronga is looking for an experienced, driven and motivated Reservations Guest Experience Officer who is interested in joining a leading organisation in conservation, education, animal management and transformational guest experiences.

About the role…

Working as a Guest Experience Officer within the Reservations Team your primary focus will be in administrating all accommodation bookings & enquiries, while promoting Taronga’s broad range of activities & inclusions.

Key accountabilities…

  • Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservations types in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
  • Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensuring an outstanding guest experience
  • Ensure arrivals list is accurate & checked on a daily basis, and that accurate data is recorded for all reservations.
  • Comply with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
  • Comply with and report any Work, Health and Safety incidents in line with Taronga’s Work, Health and Safety Charter.

About you…

We are looking for candidates that have/ are willing to:

  • Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.
  • Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
