About the Role

Orana Gardens Ltd is a leading and established aged care provider based in the Central West centre of Dubbo. Our ongoing and strong commitment to the provision of clinical care will be advanced by the newly created role of Clinical Care Manager.

As a Clinical Care Manager your primary responsibility will be to manage the day to day operations and clinical governance of our 125 bed facility.

Utilising your extensive clinical management experience, you will motivate, lead and enhance the team to ensure standards of excellence are maintained. You will lead by example to set the standard of delivery of person-centred care, maintaining the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning, evaluation and clinical governance and ensuring accreditation standards are met and maintained.

The Clinical Care Manager will deliver:

Full clinical oversight of the facility, including clinical governance and continuous quality improvement
Leadership, development and direction of the clinical team
A model of quality care that meets the expectations of our residents and other stakeholders through person centred care and strong clinical expertise
An engaging culture of excellence and best practice that is promoted through your own modelled behaviour
Compliance with the Aged Care and Quality Standards in consultation with the Executive Team
Learning outcomes by identifying clinical skills gaps and working together with the Facility Manager to ensure education, training and development are in place
About you:

A keen and enthusiastic focus on residents, their care, safety and well-being.
A highly organised and a strong team player
Previous management experience in a similar role within aged care
Leadership experience with the ability to  manage and develop teams to reach their optimum potential
AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
Robust experience and knowledge of ACFI management
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Have a demonstrated history of successfully leading and mentoring staff
Human Resource Management
Managing culture and change
Demonstrated thorough understanding of the Aged Care sector, legislation, funding and accreditation
