THE OPPORTUNITY

The Gardener is to assist the Coordinator in providing beneficial and cost efficient horticultural maintenance and installation service to the Local Government area of Dubbo Regional Council.

There are two positions one located in Dubbo and one located in Wellington.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

  • Provide technically sound, up to date and cost effective horticultural services and maintenance
  • Interpret customer and client requirements and meet those requirements within policy and procedure frameworks
  • Respond to public enquiries, complaints and requests
  • Assist the Supervisor with coordination of worksite activities

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or related field
  • Experience in maintaining high profile horticultural assets
  • Experience in running small teams
  • Class C Drivers Licence

ABOUT YOU

You will need to be physically fit, enjoy working outdoors with an eye for detail and qualifications and experience in Horticulture.

Salary: $59,655-$69,329 per annum plus superannuation and an industry allowance
