THE OPPORTUNITY

In this position you will support the Aquatics Customer Experience Coordinator in the daily operation of the Dubbo or Wellington/Geurie Aquatic Leisure Centre front-of-house reception and Café, ensuring the provision of excellent customer service.

The Aquatics Customer Experience Assistant Coordinator will assist with rostering and training of Aquatic Centre employees to provide best-practice customer experiences while supporting efficient operation of all public-facing services and high quality café fare and hygiene standards.

You will be flexible in terms of working hours which will include weekend work. This position will work on a seasonal basis for the duration of the aquatic operating season. 

There are two positions. One based in Dubbo for approximately 36 weeks and the other based in Wellington for approximately 32 weeks.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

  • Lead, coach and mentor a vibrant and enthusiastic team 
  • Oversee the operation of the aquatic centers front of house and cafes to ensure excellent customer service
  • Undertake administration, financial and stock control duties

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • High level communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with patrons and other staff in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality customer service
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role including food handling and preparation, cash handling and cash reconciliation

Salary: $1165.68 to $1354.70 per week plus superannuation
