$84,647 package includes salary ($74,912 – $82,688), employer’s contribution to superannuation, and annual leave loading.

About the role
We are looking for two (2) experienced and high performing Support Officers to provide quality, team-based support to the leadership team with the region within the following Skills teams:
1 x Support Officer for Career Pathways Aboriginal Languages and Employability Skills Point – Full Time Permanent Role
1 x Support Officer for Head of Tourism Experience Services, Creative Design & Ideation & Technology & Business Services – Full-time Temporary role up to July 2024
This position is required to provide delivery of services in a timely, accurate, reliable, and effective manner and support the team’s strategies and guiding principles.
Location preference is for Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Tamworth, Wellington and other TAFE NSW campus locations within the TAFE NSW West Region. Please note your preferred campus location is not guaranteed and is subject to campus availability at the time of offer.
We are also seeking to create an eligibility list, valid for 18 months, for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this recruitment.
We are looking for a driven, proactive, passionate, and self-motivated individuals with excellent organisational and administrative skills to provide a range of support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting, and event coordination to support the effective operation of the team/unit.
You will need to have excellent time management and multitasking skills, be able to work in a very busy and fast paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. You will have impeccable communication skills, a can do positive attitude, be self-directed and accountable. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate IV in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and current industry experience.
- Experience in providing quality executive secretarial and administrative support in a high volume professional environment.
- Experience in the effective use of records management and finance systems.
