Description : We are currently looking to hire a Station Attendant and counter sales agent for our Campbellton, Miramichi and Bathurst Stations.

People with customer service experience in the tourism, hospitality or airline industry are invited to apply!No day is the same as a Station Attendant / counter sales agent.

Schedules change according to train arrivals and departures, and tasks are varied. In a day, you’ll be able to give instructions to travelers, check tickets, help an elderly person board a car, lift large suitcases, and even drive a cart to move luggage (but don’t worry, we’ll give you training!)Most important, you’ll have the satisfaction of helping people every day.

  • Creating and modifying bookings.
  • Checking tickets.
  • Announcing and providing information on train arrivals, departures, or delays.
  • Assisting passengers with special needs.
  • Ensuring cleanliness throughout the station.
  • Handling luggage, packages, or sports equipment.
  • Working outdoors, regardless of the weather.
  • Driving motor vehicles in small spaces (training provided).WORK LOCATIONYou will work at our Campbellton, Miramichi and Bathurst Stations.

You need to be able work at those three Stations.SCHEDULE You need to be available and flexible to work from 6 : 30-00h00, 7d / 7.

Please note that working schedules may change based on operational demands, special circumstances and train delays. You must be very flexible when it comes to your work schedule and expect to work holidays as well.

TRAININGYou will follow a two weeks training session which must be successfully completed before obtaining the position. You must be available June 3rd in Bathurst for the training Requirements : You are well-suited for this challenge if you :

  • have a strong ability to communicate with a smile, both in English and French
  • possess a High School Diploma
  • have a minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • possess a valid driver’s license
  • must be physically able to manipulate, on a repetitive basis, items weighing up to 23kg Benefit from a complete and competitive salary and benefits package in a safe work environment.
