We are currently seeking experienced accounts receivable and debt management professionals to join the Senior Accounts Receivable and Debt Management Officer talent pool within the Revenue and Debt Management team in Shared Services. This talent pool will be utilised to fill upcoming temporary as well as ongoing employment opportunities that will arise over the next 18 months.

These roles deliver and monitor accounts receivable and debt management activities through a shared service delivery model. Focusing on high quality client interactions, you will ensure customer-centric services and support outcomes are met against the partnership agreements, and in compliance with relevant public sector debt recovery policies, practices and statutory requirements.

A senior member of the team, you will undertake reporting and reconciliation processes to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of financial statements as well as contribute to the review of procedures and policies to ensure quality services are aligned to performance standards and customer expectations.

About You

The key to your success in these roles will be your demonstrated knowledge and experience in accounts receivable and debt management activities. With your extensive experience in account reconciliation, you will have excellent attention to detail to allow you to identify discrepancies combined with your strong ability to analyse and understand data to think outside the box and resolve issues.

You will have superior organisational, prioritisation and time management skills with capacity to work well under pressure. You are a team-oriented person however can confidently work autonomously, proactively identifying what needs to be done and working through available materials and resources to resolve or escalate as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualification or experience in relevant field such as accounting, bookkeeping or financial services.
