We have an opening in the in the Hume region for a TeamLeader – Thurgoona to join our dynamic team.

About the Position

As a Team Leader you will oversee a team of Disability SupportWorkers who provide support, encouragement and guidance to ourcustomers attending our Day Program. You will strengthen theknowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure aperson-centered and high-quality culture within the program.

You will lead your team and provide hands-on assistance withcustomers partaking in a range of activities such as: arts andcrafts, woodwork, gardening, cooking and more.

This position is Part-time Permanent with ongoing rostered hoursper fortnight with potential to increase and will commence as soonas possible.

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to work across operating hours
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independentlyand as a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to developpositive relationships
  • Previous experience using hoist
  • Ability to take clients swimming, and participate in swimmingactivities
