We have an opening in the in the Hume region for a Team Leader – Thurgoona to join our dynamic team.

About the Position 

As a Team Leader you will oversee a team of Disability Support Workers who provide support, encouragement and guidance to our customers attending our Day Program. You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.  

You will lead your team and provide hands-on assistance with customers partaking in a range of activities such as: arts and crafts, woodwork, gardening, cooking and more. 

This position is Part-time Permanent with ongoing rostered hours per fortnight with potential to increase and will commence as soon as possible. 

Requirements 

  • Ability and willingness to work across operating hours
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships 
  • Previous experience using hoist
  • Ability to take clients swimming, and participate in swimming activities
