Smart Community Coordinator

On the 13th October 2017 AlburyCity and City of Wodonga entered into an historic partnership between the two cities. Combining the vision and common priorities of our people, a Two Cities One Community Strategic Plan has been developed and is supported by a detailed Action Plan outlining the projects that we will undertake over coming years.

This partnership is a unique opportunity to develop a way forward that benefits our community as a whole with the aim of improving integration, productivity and social and economic development. It will focus on future growth that will continue to add value to both cities.

Based at AlburyCity the Smart Communities Coordinator position will implement the Albury Wodonga Smart Communities Framework, a project developed through the ‘Two Cities One Community’ initiative. The position will play an important operational role in managing the implementation and ongoing evolution of the Albury Wodonga Smart Communities Framework. This will include the integration of the Framework across both Councils to ensure coordinated solutions. The coordinator will prepare strategic information, research new ideas, and develop project plans that detail resources required over the life of the plan and establish effective reporting and monitoring for Smart Community initiatives.
