About the Role

The Registered Nurse will be a valued member of the Medical Ward 2/HAB (Higher Acuity Beds) team and will be required to part of he multidisciplinary health care team and utilises the practice of nursing to deliver patient centred care in any practice setting that is in accordance with the NMBA Registered Nurse standards for practice, Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) Nursing Scope of Practice and AWH Nursing Professional Capability Framework.

The Opportunity

  • Medical Ward 2 is a 21 bed mixed medical unit specialising in Cardiology, Respiratory and Endocrine patients within the Medicine and Cancer services Division.
  • We are currently preparing to provide Telemetry monitoring within Medical Ward 2 for the Medicine Division.
  • We have 4 Higher Acuity Beds (HAB) beds attached that are staffed by the Medical Ward 2 team.
  • There are great learning opportunities available to upskill in these specialities.

Employment Type: We have the following two opportunities available:

  • Permanent Part Time position 32 hours per week.
  • Fixed Term, Full-Time 40 hours per week until 15 August 2024.
