Huntsman Recruiting are working with Malibu Boats to secure multiple Production Operators in their Albury branch. 

Yep – you heard correctly, Malibu Boats! 

They have the  perfect mix of laid-back vibes and top-notch innovation, where your daily grind involves being part of a team that’s all about creating the coolest watercraft out there at the highest quality. 

This is where you come in. 

No white card, no experience? No problems.
    
In saying that, if you do have previous manufacturing or production experience that would be handy. We simply need you to be reliable and keen to work – easy right?

As a Production Operator, you’ll play a pivotal role in the boat manufacturing process. 

You’ll handle various tasks, including;

  • Blowing out molds/wiping them down.
  • Maintaining molds to high standards.
  • Waxing/removing wax.
  • Taping molds with masking film, cutting out panels and preparing molds.
  • Using gel coaters and spraying gel coats.
  • Ensuring general cleanliness of the work area. 

Side note: This role also involves maintaining and handling spray machines, as well as working with dangerous and hazardous substances.

Did someone say three day weekend?
    
The roles will be on a casual basis where you’ll work 38 hours per week, (10 hours per day) Monday to Thursday – Yep, that’s right, four day work week! Amen! 

However at times, there might be the occasion to work Fridays so having the flexibility is necessary. 

PPE is supplied, you’ll just need your own pair of lace up steel cap boots.
    
Full on the job training is provided, you must simply be willing to learn…. And did we mention turn up?
      
The environment is squeaky clean and they have some of the best WHS standards you’ll come across. 
      
You’ll be inside and not hindered by the weather. How good will that be? Ongoing work, rain hail or shine!
      
You’ll also need to undergo a full physical and medical assessment, as well as drug and alcohol testing. 
    
You just need to turn up every day, do the work, enjoy the team and then get home safely to your family.

The pay rates vary from $30-32 p/h + super.
