As a Production Line Operator at Easyshed, your role is to contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality products. Your role is vital in maintaining efficient production flow, adhering to quality standards, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets. With your positive attitude, adaptability, and attention to detail, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional products to our customers.



Responsibilities of the role and incumbent include but are not limited to:

  • Run various production machines, such as roll formers, glue stations, and other equipment, following standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the machines are running smoothly and troubleshoot any minor issues that may arise.
  • Pick and pack accessories, assemble products, and prepare them for shipment.
  • Follow packing instructions and quality control guidelines to ensure accurate and safe packaging of products.
  • Collaborate with the team in the dispatch area to coordinate outgoing goods.
  • Adapt to changing production requirements and seamlessly transition between tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Safely handle production materials, leveraging and lifting them according to established procedures.
  • Utilise forklifts, dollies, or other equipment for efficient movement of materials within the production area.
  • Maintain a keen focus on quality control throughout the production process.
  • Perform regular quality checks on products and outgoing goods to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or potential improvements.
  • Maintain housekeeping by cutting up boxes, keeping the work area tidy, and ensuring proper box maintenance.
  • Perform roll former process tasks, including loading/unloading coils, setting safety edge, feeding coils through the machine, conducting sheet quality checks, loading cut files, running the machine, placing foam between sheets, loading sheets into boxes, and organising paperwork.
  • Handle the middle process by assessing sheets, manually cutting and folding if necessary, picking and adding parts to the box based on checklist instructions, and placing protector sheets.
  • Pay attention to detail and maintain a quality focus to ensure the right parts are added to the right box.
  • Operate the glue station, which involves working with a hot melt system, wearing appropriate PPE (gloves), placing stickers on boxes, and handling MSDSs.
  • Assist in manual handling tasks, such as dragging empty pallets into place.
  • Maintain flexibility for shift work, including day shifts and afternoon shifts.
  • Support other positions in the production line, such as feeding materials into the box and bundling items together.
  • Adhere to the company’s drug and alcohol policy and prioritise safety at all times.
  • Report incidents promptly and accurately, following appropriate incident reporting procedures.
  • Wear and utilise appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
  • Learn and familiarize oneself with each segment of the production line and be prepared to flex and move around different areas and shifts as needed.
  • Actively work toward a culture of respect and connectivity, participating in meetings in both Australia and Philippines and contributing to transparent communications between teams.


  • Possess the physical fitness and stamina required to handle manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail in performing quality checks, following procedures, and ensuring accurate packaging.
  • Display a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting production targets and deadlines and willingness to collaborate with our global teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively articulate any concerns, suggestions, or issues that may impact production or quality to team members, supervisors, and other departments.

  • Hold a valid forklift license and demonstrate competence in safely operating forklifts within the production environment.
  • Level of numeracy and literacy to work with automated machinery and computer systems
  • Successfully pass skill tests related to the specific production tasks and undergo a reading and literacy test to ensure comprehension of instructions and procedures.
  • Complete pre-employment screenings, which may include background checks, drug tests, or other assessments required by Easyshed’s hiring process.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential.
