Position Purpose:

 

This role focuses on ensuring the pre-construction planning is undertaken efficiently and effectively, enabling a smooth transition from sales to construction. 

 

Key duties and responsibilities will include: 

 

• Managing the pre-construction work flow to ensure the smooth transition of all projects from the pre-construction phase to construction phase. 

• Ensure preparation and submission of all relevant applications including development applications, planning certificates, environmental documentation etc. 

• Maintain an accurate planning tool, ensuring visibility to management. 

• Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts with planning authorities and other relevant agencies. 

• Assist the Sales team with general administrative duties. 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

• Demonstrable experience in a previous administrative role, preferably in the housing or construction industries would be advantageous 

• Ability to read house and site plans (CAD and other technical drawings) 

• High level computer literacy, competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Publisher and ability to pick up new systems quickly 

• Ability to create reports on costing data 

• Detail oriented, along with strong analytical and numeracy skills 

• Familiarity with various LGA development controls, environmental constraints and applications processes would be advantageous 

• Customer service experience 

• Ability to work in a team but also to work autonomously 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Experience with CRM software 

• Current driver’s license 

 

The position is Part time with hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Full time employment may also be available for the right applicant.
