Blacklocks Lavington is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team. The Parts Interpreter role is an important part of our business operations, by assisting our customers with all their parts fulfilment needs.  

The successful candidate will be part of an experienced and professional team of Parts Interpreters who sell parts and accessories to retail, trade and internal customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Receipting parts.
  • Order picking for retail customers and the workshop.
  • Responding to email and phone enquires.
  • Interpreting parts catalogues.
  • Processing quotations and orders via the Pentana system.
  • Checking stock availability and delivery times.
  • Making sure the warehouse is kept in a neat and tidy manner.

A great candidate will have:

  • An enthusiastic attitude and desire to work in a team environment
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, where you will be able to multitask and prioritise.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A forklift licence or willing to get one.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not a necessity.
