About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for you to expand your skills within a dynamic environment where you will be supported and mentored throughout. A 12 month contracted position with opportunity to move into a permanent role.
As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist you will work within a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the provision of occupational rehabilitation services to MLHD staff. The position is responsible for ensuring effective preventative, early intervention and rehabilitation processes and strategy on all health, injury and workers compensation claims matters across the local health district.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity you will be a pragmatic and proactive individual that:
- holds an Allied Health Qualification and associated registration (preferable OT, Physio or RC), or relevant occupational rehabilitation experience
- has sound knowledge of workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation
- has a passion for working with people and supporting their recovery from injury or illness
- has a demonstrated experience and knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation Scheme
- is prepared to drive improvements across the LHD in a manner that is innovative, pre-emptive and energetic
