Gardens Medical Group is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy team.

This is a permanent role for 30 plus hours per week. Hours are negotiable. We are looking for someone with experience and who brings a positive and friendly attitude to the team.

 

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Meet and greet patients and visitors
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our patients
  • Ensuring the reception and waiting areas remain clean and tidy
  • Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
  • Manage phone enquiries and appointments
  • Schedule appointments and patient billing
  • Liaising with the whole team throughout the practice
  • General administration duties (scanning, filing, etc.)
  • Collect and enter patient details into the system
  • Supporting the whole team to ensure a smooth running practice

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have previous Medical Reception experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
  • Experience with Best Practice Software is preferred
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

Position: Permanent Part time to Full time. Hours negotiable
