Boys To The Bush Ltd

Due to our continued growth we are looking for an HR Support Officer to work from our Albury office as part of our corporate support team. You will provide generalist Human Resources support, with key priorities in onboarding new employees and managing employee documentation. You will provide direct support to the HR Manager and work in collaboration with another HR Support Officer.

Boys to the Bush was founded in 2017 and is a registered not-for-profit community-based charity. Our priority is helping boys to become good men. We are creating better fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, and employees for the future.

About the role:

  • Lead the onboarding of new employees, managing employment documentation and compliance checks
  • Assist with the development and review of HR and WHS related policies, procedures, documents, and templates.
  • Collaborate on wide ranging HR projects, including recruitment, training, WHS, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Liaise with our team members in 10 locations across NSW and VIC 
  • Excellent with MS Office (particularly SharePoint and Excel) and demonstrated ability to learn systems quickly
  • You have a positive attitude and commitment to promoting Boys to the Bush values of Community, Engagement and Respect 

About you:

  • Experience working in a Human Resources or Workplace Health and Safety focused role
  • Attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate HR records 
  • Strong organisational skills, including good time management and the ability to prioritise 
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
