Position Available: Housing Assistant

Location: Albury

Pay Rate: $29.47 per hour + Super

Duration: Beginning March – 24 May 2024

Working Hours: 7 hours per day; 35 hours per week

Working Days: All 5 days from the office

About Us: Our client is a dedicated team committed to growing housing opportunities that prioritize people’s needs. As a Housing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our client service delivery team, ensuring seamless administrative operations and excellent client service.

Role Description: The Housing Assistant position is an entry-level opportunity where you will directly contribute to the efficient functioning of our client service operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to over-the-counter, face-to-face, and telephone enquiries, providing accurate information to clients, and referring enquiries to client service staff as necessary.
  • Managing a shared mail inbox efficiently.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of client information.
  • Collating and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Scheduling client service visits and handling administrative tasks for client service officers.
  • Entering NSW Civil Administrative Tribunal applications.
  • Assisting in fleet management tasks.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role would be advantageous but not essential.
