We are seeking an passionate person to join our team at The Gardens Cafe in Albury who is hardworking, dedicated and energetic about delicious food, coffee & customer service.

 

About the role:

As a Front of house attendant you will be responsible for providing front of house services to the community, local businesses & businesses within the Gardens Medical Centre. Applicant will be required to open and close the store when needed, have full availability including being capable of early starts as well as work afternoons as required.

The Gardens Cafe runs on a 5 day week basis, opening from 7am-4pm Monday to Friday. For this position we are offering the right candidate 15-20 hours per week.

 

Applicants with these experiences would be desirable:

  • Experience as a Barista 
  • Experience with Point of Sales (POS) systems 
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and methods
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with customers and over the phone
  • Ability to manage and organize own time in order to meet deadlines/orders
  • Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards regarding food preparation and storage 
  • Being able to take orders in person and over the phone
  • Has front counter and cash handling experience

 

Food experience is essential.
