Job details  

The Executive Director of People & Culture will play an essential role in providing executive leadership and strategic direction for the People & Culture function and importantly shape GOTAFE’s organisational culture, ensuring the workforce is best equipped to deliver on organisational goals.   

As the successful candidate, you will have:  

  • Experience in leading People & Culture functions at an executive level, within complex environments.  
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans, whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.  
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively, including Boards and government agencies.  
  • Experience in resource management including workforce utilisation and budget management.   
  • Deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, plans, and policies. 
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation including managing enterprise agreements, coupled with strong commercial acumen.
