GOTAFE has a fantastic opportunity for an educational leader to join their Executive Team in the role of Executive Director of Education.  In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of education strategies aligned with the Strategic Plan. You will define an education profile aligned with the Victorian Skills Plan, catering to local needs, and exploring emerging industries. Under your leadership, your team will drive GOTAFE’s education agenda, ensuring it’s grounded in best practices and adaptable to evolving needs.   

  • Additionally, you will oversee product development to enhance the student learning experience through innovative delivery methods while maintaining quality and compliance standards.  
  • As the successful candidate, you will have:   
  • Executive leadership experience in the education sector, with a strong understanding of vocational education and training  
  • Success in developing and implementing effective education strategies, driving positive outcomes for students and industry within an educational environment.  
  • Expertise in pedagogy and andragogy practices, showcasing a deep understanding of teaching and learning approaches.  
  • Demonstrated executive-level experience in leading high-performing, accountable teams to achieve exceptional results aligned with organisational strategy.  
  • Track record of successfully leading large teams or functions through significant evolution to deliver positive change.
