SS&A Albury is a premium entertainment venue in the heart of the Albury CBD where you will experience excellent hospitality and friendly customer service.

Social Dining and Bar provides an extensive menu featuring pub and club favourites mixed with modern dishes and authentic Asian flavours. The SS&A’s four bar areas are distinguishable by their unique elements including a specialist sports bar The Locker Room and The Studio Lounge, which has built a reputation as host to the best live and free music / entertainment al Albury Wodonga. Two newly renovated function spaces allow for multiple use including functions, catered events and entertainment. All this plus two alfresco areas, kids room, conference room and plenty of on-site car parking makes the SS&A ‘the place’ for Albury/Wodonga locals and visitors to eat, drink and play.

We are currently seeking a motivated and hard working Chef to join our Catering team in our fully renovated kitchen. The catering team service a bistro for 280 and have the capacity to service functions for up to 360 people.

You will have an uncompromising attitude for food quality, presentation, storage and waste. You must be flexible and reliable, passionate about food and willing to work collaboratively with all BOH and FOH staff in a fast paced environment. Asian cooking and function experience is highly desirable.

You must have:

  • The ability to follow instructions with a positive, can-do attitude
  • The capability and confidence to enforce and uphold service and presentation standards
  • Pride and ownership of your work with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Wok experience preferred
  • A Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Club or Pub type environment
  • NSW Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
  • NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
  • The flexibility to work a range of shifts including early mornings, late nights and weekends

A salary package between $70,000 – $75,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
