CluBarham is perfectly located on the Banks of the Mighty Murray River. Incorporating the Services Club, Golf and Sports Club and motel accommodation, CluBarham is dedicated to providing entertainment, and sporting facilities for the Barham community and visitors.

The role of the Chef or Cook at cluBarham involves the provision of exceptional internal and external customer service in a high paced work environment. The delivery of quality products, service and timing is something that our kitchen team prides itself on. The role of the Chef or Cook at cluBarham is integral to leading these values in the Kitchen.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and live the Clubs shared values and vision.
  • Strong time management.
  • Ensure quality of product.
  • Deliver quantity of products.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Maintain timing of service.
  • Reporting requirements for major repairs to management.
  • Ensure that club facilities and equipment are always kept clean, attractive, and in compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with WHS requirements.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.


Qualification and Skills

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment efficiently.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and use initiative.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Knowledge of all relevant compliance and industry regulations.

Registered & Licensed Clubs Award 2020 Level 5 Modern Award Minimum.
