About the role

We are looking for a Capability Administrator to join our People team at Hume Bank.

The Capability Administrator is responsible for providing end-to-end administrative support to the People team, whilst delivering excellent customer service to the business. 

Operating across a broad range of functions, you will be allocated a portfolio of works with a focus on capability (learning and development) and supporting the Safety and Wellbeing portfolio. You will also provide general administration support across the Human Resources function.

This is a full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Albury, NSW. Flexible working arrangements, such as Working from Home are available when residing in the Albury-Wodonga area.

What you can expect

  • Support the coordination of learning and development activities including e-learning modules, qualification programs and other face-to-face programs.
  • Administer Hume Bank’s online Learning Management system (Moodle) and provide first-level technical assistance for all employees as required.
  • Prepare and schedule employee induction plans and assist in the facilitation of employee induction training and other relevant onboarding activities 
  • Support the administration and coordination of WHS compliance tasks including risk assessments, workplace inspections, emergency evacuations and other WHS administrative duties or projects as required.
  • Support the People team with general administrative tasks as and when required.

In addition to the above, we also offer a competitive hourly salary range of $28.83 to $29.66 per hour.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will:

  • Certificate 3 in Business, Administration or Human Resources, or another related discipline (desirable)
  • Ability to direct own work and proactively seek input where required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service

Our process

  • Once the role is closed, we review all applications against the requirements, creating a shortlist for further review.

  • We conduct two rounds of interviews, with the first interview being held with the supervisor and a member of our People Team. You may be invited back to a shorter second-round interview with the head of the department.
