About the Role

We have an amazing opportunity to play an integral role in this exciting industry as Assistant Park Manager at our Merool on the Murray Holiday Park. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing our guests a timeless place where they can escape to freedom and have a stay to remember.  

Some of your key functions will include:

  • Assist leading divisional alignment (Sales, Marketing, Development and Operations)
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities for the Park and assess relevance for the overall business and make commercial recommendations
  • An in depth experience in the Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change management

You must be able to deliver a consistently high level of customer service always, displaying a friendly, helpful manner, in order to maximize customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relations which may lead to repeat business and well as form a community with our permanent residents. 


What You’ll Bring to the Team

You are a strong leader who will actively contribute to the leadership of the team with flexibility in working a varied roster which may include weekend work and being on-call overnight. 

  • Qualifications in Hospitality, Tourism or similar
  • Practical experience in managing a holiday/caravan park
  • Proven business and commercial acumen
  • Competent financial accounting, budgeting and reconciliation skills 
  • Strong Administration, written, verbal Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously and think independently
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent pro-active management of such opportunities
  • Ability to think in terms of commercial and financial outcomes, and value enhancement
