The Border Cancer Hospital is seeking Assistants in Nursing to join our clinical team on a permanent part-time or casual basis!

 

The Opportunity

Our modern 28-chair Day Oncology Unit and 30-bed inpatient Oncology Ward, provides cancer treatments and supportive care to the Albury-Wodonga community.

Joining our team as an AIN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing high quality nursing and supportive care to all patients and clients who access the health service.

This is a great opportunity for undergraduate nurses to gain clinical experience and learn from a dedicated, experienced team!

 

Your Key Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Health Service Assistance with health care experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Available to work a flexible roster over 7 days a week
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
  • High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of infection control principles

This role will suit an individual with a passion for client care and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to our patients in the challenging area of Oncology and Haematology.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
